Photosynthesis

Introduction to Photosynthesis

Photosynthesis is the fundamental process by which plants, algae, and some bacteria convert light energy into chemical energy, stored as glucose, and simultaneously release oxygen as a byproduct. This process is not only crucial for the survival of photosynthetic organisms but also underpins the entire food web, as it is the primary source of energy and organic matter for the vast majority of life on Earth.
